This is an introductory semester course in Human Nutrition.  It covers a detailed study of the Digestive System, review of food chemistry, and all areas of diet, food choices, healthy eating, weight control, and eating disorders.

It is also a Concurrent Enrollment UVU class.  Students may enroll in NUTR 1020 for 3 semester credit hours.

This course is a Career and Technical Education class covering Medical Anatomy and Physiology for students interested in potential careers in Health Care.  It can be used for Science credit instead of CTE credit if desired.
